With a host of accolades under his belt, Khan has toured the world interpreting the traditional South Asian music he has grown up with and introducing the eastern flavour to the west playing to attentive sold-out crowds across the globe. In 2014 Khan became the first Pakistani to be invited to perform at the Nobel Peace Prize concert held in Norway where he performed the songs “Tumhe Dillagi” and “Mast Qalander”. In 2010 Khan was awarded the Star Screen Award for Best Male Playback for his vocal performance on the song “Ajj Din Chadheya” from the 2009 film “Love Ajj Kal”. In 2004 he made his Bollywood debut in the film “Paap” with the hit song “Maan Ki Lagan” kicking off his soon to be prolific Bollywood career. Gaining notoriety, Khan took his hand in orchestral and film music composition as he worked on the soundtrack for the 2002 film “The Four Feathers” while producing nationalistic and traditional inspired songs. In 1995, Rahat worked alongside Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder to work on the soundtrack for the Hollywood film “Dead Man Walking”, marrying the East with the West on the tracks “The Face of Love” and “The Long Road”.
